Wind-whipped fence lines held a downtown jobsite together after a nasty winter blast
After a rough winter windstorm rolled through Downtown San Jacinto, we got a call from a contractor working near a row of older buildings with that 1920s-to-1950s look the area still carries. The wind had twisted loose barriers and scattered debris across the site, and the morning air still carried that sharp, dusty smell. Traffic was already picking up near the civic core, and with pedestrians moving past the block, the open edge was turning into a real problem for safety and access.
We loaded our panels, braces, and weighted bases right away and set the line tight along the frontage so the crew could keep moving. Ricky checked the layout by hand, adjusted for the sidewalk edge, and made sure the fence sat steady where the gusts hit hardest. We do this because a shaky fence just creates another headache. By the time the crew came back from break, the site looked controlled again, and the contractor could keep working without worrying about people cutting through.
You guys got that site secured fast, and we were back to work without fighting the wind all day.
